Need the best newest Internet security suite.
Hi, I'm new here and I want to buy Internet security suite for my pc (1 pc). I need your opinion. Please tell me the best newest Internet security suite. Thank you.
More then 10 years use Norton and since 2003-4 (don't remember) use Avast (2 years free, after payabel). Bouth very good: Avast became stronge each year, Norton was best (imho) always. But! best defence on street not karate, but fast foots, and best Anti-virrus - be careful.
i would for sure say AVAST 7 or G DATA
AVAST gives you very good detection rates and low impact on system performance , also has a very nice GUI
G Data gives you extremely high detection rates and you can modify the engine settings to very much reduce the impact on system performance
I would say AVIRA Internet Security - comes 2nd top in detection tests almost all the time... G-Data "cheats" by having 2 engines from other AV's , it has a massive impact on system and is unstable (IMO) it messed with my laptop Internet Settings 18 months ago and totaly screwed my dads SSD (MFT Corruption from BSOD caused by G-DATA) just 2 days back...
you could use AVIRA (or AVAST) free and COMODO Firewall with Defense+ turned on because that program has excellent pro-active protection (as per matousec testing) - with them together you have excellent scope for protection
